Unphysical behavior in simulations
In some simulations setups, an unphysical stripe pattern has been noticed. As an example, a force-driven channel can be used as attached to the Issue.
At this point, several sources could cause the problems:
- Numerical round off errors (see MR !113 (merged))
- Incorrect/Non-ideal initialization of the domain
- Non-ideal relaxation rates (especially the influence of the bulk relaxation rate should be looked at, however also SRT simulations are affected)
This issue here should function as documentation of the problems in different configurations
